Over the past two decades, Virgil has been a true staple in the world of professional wrestling. He began his career in the WWF - as the bodyguard for the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. After several years at the side of Dibiase, Virgil broke away and entered a feud with his former boss. Virgil and Dibiase would compete on several occassions - with the "Million Dollar Belt" on the line.

After his WWF tenure, Virgil disappeared from the national scene for several years. However, in 1996, he made the greatest impact of his career - showing up on WCW Monday Nitro alongside Ted Dibiase and Hulk Hogan. Now known as VINCENT, he became the seventh member of the original NWO.

Vincent would remain with the NWO until their demise several years later. He continued to compete regularly in WCW ­ and formed memorable alliances with The Cat, the West Texas Rednecks, and later with Vince Russo himself [during the "Powers That Be" take over of WCW].
