"Who
came here to see the Disco dance?" That's the question that
has been posed to audiences nationwide since 1995! Disco Inferno
was a prominent part of WCW Monday Nitro - from it's formative years,
up until the very end.
Early on, he
seemed a bit aloof, more concerned with "shaking it" than
getting three counts on opponents. Championship gold, however, seemed
to change his tune. After a Television Title win over Alex Wright
in 1997, a more "determined" Disco Inferno emerged. Matches
against the likes of Booker T, Chris Jericho, and Juventud Guerrera
would provide career-defining moments for WCW's dancing king.
In addition
to his championship, Disco was also
honored with memberships in WCW's
most exclusive cliques. He has worked
with Scott Hall in the NWO Wolfpack,
joined forces with the Mamalukes (Big
Vito and Johnny The Bull), and even
been christened into the Filthy Animals.
